Visitors to the Turks and Caicos Islands are sun lovers. They are rewarded by the Islands climate which is one of the driest in the whole Caribbean region with just 43 rainy days per year. Providenciales averages 44 to 50 inches (112 – 127 cm) rainfall annually. Other island areas , Grand Turk, South Caicos and Salt Cay have around 22 inches (55cm)
The temperature in winter hovers around 77°F (25°C) and can reach highs of 85°F (29°C) while at night the temperature can drop to 18 degrees or so. Summer temperatures range from 88°F (31°C) to 95°F (35°C) during the day and even at night they are averaging 75°F (24°C).
The beautiful shallow seas surrounding the islands have water temperatures between 78°F to 82°F (25°C – 28°C) and that’s in the winter months too.
